1 Peter 5:5-8, You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
The game is real, the stakes are high, for no time on earth can ever compare to all eternity. We recognize our great need, and that we are saved by grace through faith, “and that not of yourselves.” All that we have and all that we are in this life is by His great mercy; all that will be is because He has called us and set us free. Since we put all our trust in Him, there’s no place left for any anxiety! And He has given us the opportunity to be involved in His great plan today!
Thank You for the good works You have prepared for me today to bring glory to You O Lord.
