Abound in love for one another.
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13, Now may our God and Father Himself and Jesus our Lord direct our way to you; and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all men, just as we also do for you; so that He may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.
Clearly Paul wasn’t just interested in “getting them saved.” He wanted them to grow and prosper in this new life in Christ. And even as they were growing in faith, he was “filling up the afflictions of Christ.” Are we praying this prayer for those we love who are called according to His purpose?
Help us to be faithful in prayer, in leading others to You and in becoming more and more like You, in living as Your disciples.
