Delivered from preserve and evil men.

2 Thessalonians 3:1-3, FINALLY, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you; and that we may be delivered from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

We think this is something that only we have to deal with; even in Paul’s day there were people who were “perverse and evil.” He doesn’t pray for protection from them, but for the good news, the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be spread throughout the world. Do we have this perspective? Do we look for ways to bring His truth to every nation?

Help, I need Your strength; the idea of spreading His name throughout the nations is beyond my own strength; open my eyes to the one thing I need to do next.
