The Lord is able to make him stand.

Romans 4:3-4, Let not him who eats regard with contempt him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and stand he will, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

We have been taught the idea that our behavior makes us righteous, when nothing could be further from the truth. It is our very nature that Isaiah exposes when he says that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” In fact, our only hope is in coming “just as I am” to our Lord and master, Jesus Christ. It is only by His transforming power that we are able to be born again and be made to stand!

Help me to recognize Your amazing grace for my brother, especially when I see him failing the way I also fail!
