Pursue.

Hebrews 12:14, Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.

We pursue our studies, or pursue a prize, or a spouse; do we see peace with men and sanctification as something of that same value? He has pursued us, going all the way to the cross to set us free. Do we take sanctification that seriously, that it is something to be pursued? He has sent us His Holy Spirit, to guide and lead us in the ways of righteousness. He has purified us by His marvelous grace, let’s not “come short of the grace of God.”

Come, Holy Spirit, open our eyes to those ways to pursue peace with all men and sanctification, we need Your conviction and Your help!
