All things in subjection.

Hebrews 2:8, THOU HAST PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET.” For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him.

I’m glad that Paul put that last sentence in there, because we certainly do not see all things subjected to Him, even in our own lives. In fact, the world often seems to be going the other way, and fast. That’s where faith comes in, for indeed we walk by faith and not by sight! He is who He says He is, raised from the dead by the mighty working of God, and He indeed has all things under His control.

We thank You for the gift of faith, and we long for the day when faith shall become sight, when we will know You even as we are known!
