Be on your guard.
2 Peter 3:17-18, You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard lest, being carried away by the error of unprincipled men, you fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
There's no doubt that there is an assault by unprincipled people in our culture, we see evidence everywhere. The best antidote is to "take captive every thought," build our own faith by what we listen to, read and think about, and then to multiply that belief by building up others, to His glory. What could happen when we take thoughts captive, pray for wisdom in how to turn everything to His glory, and then act on the wisdom He so freely gives us?
Help us to recognize the attacks, to gird ourselves about with Your full armor and bring glory to Your Holy Name!
