Seek for His kingdom.
Luke 12:31, "But seek for His kingdom, and these things shall be added to you."
It's all too common in our world to view someone according to their possessions. Jesus warns us about that in these passages. His view is that we are able to lay up treasure in heaven, and that will never be taken away from us. We can recognize Him as our true provider, and our true security. One of my teachers is passionate about retirement; it's not really retirement for him, though, it’s retraining! He has a new ministry and is training new pastors all over the world. What a treasure to lay up in heaven!
Keep our focus on Your priorities; thank You that You care for us more than we can imagine!
