But they kept silent.
Luke 14:3-4, And Jesus answered and spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?” But they kept silent. And He took hold of him, and healed him, and sent him away.
When His accusers were confronted with the truth, there was nothing to say. Even though their hearts remained unconverted, they remained silent in His presence. We hear many today who rail against the truth, building up themselves as though they will live forever; we know that on one great day that all will keep silent before Him. Pray that hearts will be turned towards Him today!
Keep us focused on those who You are calling today, that hearts might be turned towards Jesus.
