Luke 13:16, "And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?"
Most of us would not make the same mistake, condemning Jesus for a woman who was supernaturally healed simply because it was the Sabbath. Jesus put the highest priority on relationships, bringing His amazing touch to so many situations, putting people first, as He did the woman at the well. Unfortunately, it's far easier for us to put our principles or our own rules before other people; can we truly see the difficulty others face? Can we allow His healing touch to come despite what we think should happen? Can we really put people first?
Give us Your perspective, Lord Jesus, that we may see beyond our own limitations, to see others as You see them, to bring Your creative solutions.
