To Thee the nations will come.
Jeremiah 16:19-21, O LORD, my strength and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of distress, to Thee the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, "Our fathers have inherited nothing but falsehood, futility and things of no profit. Can man make gods for himself? Yet they are not gods! Therefore behold, I am going to make them know— this time I will make them know My power and My might; and they shall know that My name is the LORD."
Even though God brought His judgment against the nation in Jeremiah's day, He also looked beyond to restoring them. In that day, He made clear His power and might in bringing them back. Even more astonishing is the gathering of the nation in our own time, something that few would have believed from scripture even a hundred years ago. What an exciting time, to see this gathering and to know that God is drawing the nations of the earth to Himself!
Open our eyes to the ways that You have for us to be a part of this gathering of the nations to Your glory, whether in prayer, in giving or in missions.
