Correct me, O LORD, but with justice.

Jeremiah 10:23-24, I know, O LORD, that a man’s way is not in himself; nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps. Correct me, O LORD, but with justice; not with Thine anger, lest Thou bring me to nothing.

We can be thankful that He remembers that we are "as dust," that He does not react in anger the way that we sometimes do. The best that we can do is to love Him, to seek after Him, and to live our lives knowing that He directs our paths. We can walk forth in joy today knowing that He is in control, that He is directing our paths!

We thank You for the confidence that we have in You, that You are directing our steps O Lord!
