Shrewd to do evil.

Jeremiah 4:22, "For My people are foolish, they know Me not; they are stupid children, and they have no understanding. They are shrewd to do evil, but to do good they do not know."

Are we living in a day where this might be true as it was in Jeremiah’s day? One has to wonder when seeing signs of behavior amongst Christians to be little different from the secular world. Is the good news of Jesus Christ making a difference? Are we allowing Him to move in our lives or are we "shrewd to do evil?" Am I looking for those good deeds which He has in store for today that bring glory to His name?

Help me to make a difference, to live the good news, to be prepared to give a reason for the hope that is within me.
