We are deilvered.

Jeremiah 7:8-10, "Behold, you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail. Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and offer sacrifices to Baal, and walk after other gods that you have not known, then come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My name, and say, 'We are delivered!'—that you may do all these abominations?"

The people of that day recognized the deliverance of the Lord, and His presence in the temple, but failed to let Him make a difference in their lives. We are blessed to know that we are saved by faith through grace, and we know that Jesus Christ paid the price to set us free. Let us take care not to fall into the same trap, that "grace may abound." He wants to make a difference in our lives, that we may be free indeed.

We thank You for Your grace that has set us free; bring Your Holy Spirit into every part of our lives, driving out the darkness with Your light, convicting and shaping us!
