"I, the Lord, have created it."

Isaiah 45:8, "Drip down, O heavens, from above, and let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, and righteousness spring up with it. I, the Lord, have created it."

The popular view of God seems to be a God ready to punish evil, to bring down lightning bolts or to open up the earth in vengeance. Indeed, He is a God of the ultimate justice who has promised to bring His wrath against all evil one day. He is also the God of the greatest mercy ever know, for He sent us Jesus Christ. And His offering for us has opened up the clouds, to pour down righteousness that the whole earth may bring forth His eternal fruit! Let us sow the seeds of His mercy today.

Help us to be faithful in sowing Your seed into good soil in all that we do, to bring forth a harvest of righteousness.
