All mankind will come to bow down before the Lord.

Isaiah 66:22-23, "For just as the new heavens and the new earth which I make will endure before Me," declares the Lord, "So your offspring and your name will endure. And it shall be from new moon to new moon And from Sabbath to Sabbath, all mankind will come to bow down before Me," says the Lord.

Isaiah tells of the gathering of the nations, even from "distant coastlands that have neither heard My fame nor seen My glory." What better description of our world, as even today there are such coastlands. And He will call forth His own, to come before Him "as a grain offering," to worship Him. Looking at the turmoil and strife in the world today, what better picture is there than true peace in Jerusalem, with the entire world coming in worship to the Lord?

We pray for Your peace; fill us with the fruit of Your Spirit today, that we may bring Your peace and joy wherever we go.
