Streams of water.

Isaiah 44:3-4, 'For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, and My blessing on your descendants; and they will spring up among the grass like poplars by streams of water.'

Someone told me of flying over one of the many dry regions in the world and suddenly seeing a perfectly vivid acre of green vegetation. He learned later that it was an experiment wherein the plot was supplied only with water, and the seeds lying dormant were able to bring forth their life. Indeed, without Him we are unable to bring forth life. Are we ready to receive all the blessings of His Spirit that He is ready to pour out upon us?

We thank You for Your living water, and we receive Your Spirit with joy, knowing that new life is ready to spring forth!
