His own arm brought salvation to Him.

Isaiah 59:15-16, Yes, truth is lacking; and he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, and it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice. And He saw that there was no man, and was astonished that there was no one to intercede; then His own arm brought salvation to Him; and His righteousness upheld Him.

We certainly see the evidence of truth being lacking even today, and the derision of those who turn aside from evil. We rejoice in this great salvation that He has brought us in Jesus Christ. The Lord has done what no man could ever do, for He humbled Himself to come as one of us, to rescue us. What He has done is marvelous!

We rejoice in the marvelous salvation that You offer us; for the covenant of hope that You have given us in Your Holy Spirit.
