The Lavish Banquet.

Isaiah 25:6, And the Lord of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; a banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, and refined, aged wine.

Some people think that the Lord of the Old Testament is vengeful and filled with wrath, represented only by justice with no mercy. He is also merciful, His full mercy being expressed in His gift to us of Jesus Christ. And He is ready to celebrate with us at this divine, lavish banquet one day!

We thank You for Your great mercy; We long to celebrate at Your lavish table, O Lord!
