Those who rule over them howl.

Isaiah 52:5-6, "Now therefore, what do I have here," declares the Lord, "seeing that My people have been taken away without cause?" Again the Lord declares, "Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually blasphemed all day long. Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, 'Here I am.'"

Obviously this describes another time and another place, but it shows us the heart of God. For indeed we hear the howls of blasphemers today, reviling the name of the Lord, proclaiming themselves as God. We indeed know His name, and we will know His voice when He is ready to speak. Those who rule and howl are on borrowed time!

We thank You that we know the outcome; help us to be Your witnesses today, with those people whom You give us.
