Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life.

John 3:33-34, Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

The world rises up in rebellion and wrath towards the exclusivity of Christ, He who is the way, the truth and the life. For no one comes to the Father but by Him. One of my favorite teachers notes that had God given us a thousand ways to come to Him, our fallen nature would demand one more way! The amazing thing is that God should provide any means at all, and in Christ we have the fullness of God’s Holy Spirit without measure. He who has been given all things offers us true life!

We thank You for breathing Your new life into us that we may have eternal life!
