“He has done all things well.”

Mark 7:36-37, And Jesus charged them to tell no one. But the more he charged them, the more zealously they proclaimed it. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

Jesus has returned to the home region of the demoniac where many now know of Him. He has opened the ears and loosed the tongue of a man, and astonished all who witnessed so much that His notoriety might jeopardize His ministry. And yet His power so astonished the people that they could not restrain themselves from telling others about Him and all He had done! Are we so motivated by all He has done for us that we cannot restrain ourselves from proclaiming His name?

Open our ears and remind us of all that You have done and loose our own tongues so that we too may proclaim Your name to any who will hear Your voice!
