We have heard for ourselves.
John 4:42, They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.”
We can’t convince, argue or debate well enough to convince someone of the truth of the Gospel, indeed no one can come unless the Father calls them. It is by the power of His Holy Spirit that quickens the dead, gives flesh to dry bones and breathes life into a corpse that anyone comes to know Jesus Christ as Lord of all and savior. All we can do is to do what this woman did, to tell others about Him and all He has done and pray that their ears may be opened and their eyes see that He is indeed the Savior of the world!
Inspire us to be useful in telling others about You that they may come to know You for themselves!
