Messiah.
John 4:25-26, The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”
Jesus clearly revealed Himself to this Samartin woman, and she ran to tell her neighbors of Him. He rebuked the demons who clearly knew who He was. And He had to explain His presence to one of Israel’s religious leaders and teachers. And when He revealed His power to the Gerasene demoniac, Jesus charged him to return to his home, where he proclaimed the name and power of Jesus. We live in this wonderful age wherein we worship Him in spirit and in truth, not in a temple made with hands but as living temples inhabited by His Spirit! Are we telling other of Him?
Inspire us as You did the woman at the well, and the man healed from demons that we may proclaim Your name, that we may worship You in spirit and in truth!
