Everyone.
Romans 10:10-13, For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Paul echoes the words of Peter and the prophet Joel, that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. And there is no other name by which we are saved but the Lord Jesus Christ. The amazing thing about God’s grace given us in Christ is not that He should save everyone who calls on His name, but that He should save anyone. For Christ who had no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God. He did what we could never do, for there is no stairway to climb in order to be saved. He has done it all!
We thank You Jesus for doing what we could never do, for justifying us, for saving us; give us boldness to be Your witnesses in our own day!
