Peter.
Acts 9:40, But Peter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.
We see that the others called for Peter when Tabitha died, and that he had received a very special gift from the Lord in raising her from the dead. Our attention is drawn to the miracle, but the purpose of the miracle was that others might believe in the Lord. Scripture makes it clear that the Lord gives good gifts to all believers, and that we are not all apostles. Are we willing to receive the gifts that He has given us to bring glory to His name?
We thank You for Your good gifts; we receive them to bring glory to Your name, that others may come to believe in You!
