God has shown me.

Acts 10:28-29, And he said to them, “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean. So when I was sent for, I came without objection. I ask then why you sent for me.”

Peter was willing to go as the Lord directed, and also now to lay aside the strict requirements and tradition about the Gentile people. It would take time after this introduction, but we are the beneficiaries of the amazing grace of God through the cross of Christ. Are we as willing to be led by the Spirit of God in breaking out of our own traditions?

We give thanks that all nations are called to be Your own through the amazing grace and mercy offered to us through the cross!
