The light of life.
John 8:12, Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Jesus offers us his living water, that rises up to streams that flow. We who are thirsty are invited to come to him that we may drink! He is our bread of life, “If anyone eats of this bread he will live forever.” And he is the light of the world; just as in the beginning, God said “Let there be light,” so he brings his light to us. His word is a “lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.” As we follow him, we can stay in his light! “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it!”
We look to you to guide our steps today, that we may stay in your light!
