Hearing through the word of Christ.
Romans 10:16-17, But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
When asked if he was the Messiah or if they should look for someone else, he said that the blind receive sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear and the dead are raised up, and the poor have the good news preached to them. Its not that people haven’t heard the word, its that they can’t hear it at all unless there is a supernatural act from God to open their ears, to wake the dead and to raise them up! We must not be surprised if others don’t hear the good news of Jesus Christ even when we have been crystal clear, for no one can come unless the father draws them. If you hear his voice, respond while the day is still today!
We pray for those who have heard your word, that you will draw them to your new life in Christ!
