"I gave her time to repent."
Revelation 2:21, “I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.”
We live in a time as in the days of the judges in Israel, where “everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” It’s easy to see the failure of others, especially in an area where we are not tempted. But we need to be careful if we think we stand, lest we fall. We can only ask for His grace to open our eyes to those failures we have, taking advantage of His “kindness and forbearance and patience,” His great mercy that is meant to lead us to repentance.
Open our eyes to repent and to accept Your cleansing blood for our own sin!
