To Him who loves us.

Revelation 1:5b-6, To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

His kingdom is not of this world, yet we are in this world to bring glory to His name. This time of year we are reminded of His first coming as a helpless infant, God made flesh, the only begotten Son of God. He came the first time as a suffering servant to take the sins of the world to the cross and set us free. He is coming soon with the clouds as conquering King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and “we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Are we walking in His joy today?

We give You thanks and praise that You are in control, and for the good works You have prepared for us today that we should walk in them with joy!
