The fear of death.
Hebrews 2:14-15, Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; and might deliver those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.
What an amazing plan, for God to come to us in the flesh, to do what we could never do. “He who had no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God.” He came to release the captives, to set free the downtrodden and to recover the sight of the blind. We are no longer subject to the fear of death, for we shall instantly be with Him.
Thank You that You have rendered powerless him who had the power of death; guide our steps to walk in Your power today.
