Let your mind dwell on these things.
Philippians 4:8, Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.
People that I work with are very prone to focusing on the negative aspects of what they are doing. It’s easy to get caught up in these discussions, and not at all helpful. There is no ideal workplace and no ideal job! I have to remind myself that God hears our complaints and that we all have more than enough to be infinitely thankful. We can give thanks most of all for the saving grace of Jesus Christ that has done something we could never do. And living in this time and this country, we have many blessing never even imagined in times past.
Let my mind dwell on all that You have done, Lord Jesus!
