He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.
Hebrews 2:18, For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.
My natural tendency is denial, or hiding; to pretend that something I’ve done isn’t all that bad, or some other form of rationalization. He encourages me by the security of His love that never changes. He knows me better than I know myself and loves me anyway. And He clearly understands my temptation since He faced it all Himself. He has the power to carry me through any temptation, if only I will turn to Him!
I need You every moment, thank You for coming to my aid in temptation!
