And seizing him by the right hand.

Acts 3:6-8, But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. And with a leap, he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

We see all kinds of faith in the miracles recorded in scripture. Peter didn’t wait to see if this man had faith, he knew that God had healed him as evidenced by seizing his hand and raising him up! Are we more interested in putting someone to the test to see if their faith is real, or in giving glory to God for what He is doing?

Lord, get my own ideas out of the way that others may be raised up and healed and that You may receive all the glory!
