The saints in Jerusalem.
Romans 15:26-27, For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.
We are indeed indebted to the “saints in Jerusalem” of the first century, as was Paul. Current events have brought the attention of the world back to this amazing Promised Land and those descendants of those whom God chose so long ago. We can pray for the peace of Jerusalem, knowing that only Jesus Christ can bring lasting peace to that part of the world.
Let Your good news go forth back into the land from whence it came, Lord Jesus!
