that … we might have hope.

Romans 15:1-4, NOW we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to his edification. For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED THEE FELL UPON ME." For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

We have the marvelous record of scripture that records so much to remind us that we are here for a purpose far beyond ourselves. We all have neighbors, near our homes, where we work, where we play, where we shop or where we eat. "And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith."

Thank You for Your abundant life; let me use the blessings You have given me to be a blessing to my neighbors.
