Every spiritual blessing.

Ephesians 1:3-4, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him.

Our pastor has been teaching that most of us have no problem believing that God loves some cleaned up, polished, future version of ourselves. The most amazing thing about His love is that it never changes. It has been there from before the foundation of the world, it was there when we ran and hid from Him as fast as we could go, and He knew that we would do that. He is always faithful; always ready to receive us when we have our “change of mind,” when we repent and turn to Him. In fact, He is ready to run and greet us as did the father of the prodigal son!

Thank You for giving us every spiritual blessing; help me to be quick to turn to You when I recognize that I am turning away!
