Walk in the light.

1 John 1:6-7, If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

We see this picture of amazing grace, of His own light that illuminates our need for His cleansing. We have just the opposite natural reaction when we recognize that we are in darkness we want to hide as did Adam. Instead, He invites us to walk unashamed into His light, confessing our sins and to receive His cleansing blood!

Help us to cut short our walks in the darkness, seeking to come ever more quickly into Your light to receive Your cleansing!
