Luke 22:39, And He came out and proceeded as was His custom to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.
One of my teachers had us go through the gospels and look for passages like this one where Jesus went to pray, and there are many. Especially on the night when He knew what was coming, He went out to pray, knowing that would be the place of betrayal. Many times we are distracted, as were His disciples, thinking we should be doing something when perhaps the best thing we can do is to pray.
We thank You that You hear our prayers, that You know what we need even before we ask!
