The kingdom of God is near.

Luke 21:29-31, And He told them a parable: "Behold the fig tree and all the trees; as soon as they put forth leaves, you see it and know for yourselves that summer is now near. Even so you, too, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near."

We are blessed to know how the story ends, for even when we see the trouble increasing in the world we know that His plan will prevail. We can even take heart when we see the signs of the times, know that it is like the ripening of fruit. Even so, let us be faithful in prayer, knowing that "His word will not pass away!"

We have placed all our trust in You, knowing that You have overcome the world!
