I will give you utterance and wisdom.

Luke 21:14-15, "So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves; for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute."

We know that He has given believers the gift of His Holy Spirit, and that this gift is for all believers. We know that the early believers were given wisdom and utterance even when they stood "before Kings and governors" for His name’s sake. While we may not stand in the same way, we can go forth with the same confidence, that He will give us utterance and wisdom in every circumstance.

We need Your wisdom for every utterance; give us wisdom when to speak and when to remain silent, O Lord.
