Persuaded if someone rises from the dead.

Luke 16:31, "But he said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone rises from the dead.'"

Indeed, someone has risen from the dead, and yet still there are those who not only will not listen but who will not believe scripture. There is a mystery about faith, why one believes and others do not; we who are blessed with faith know that no one comes to Jesus unless the Father who sent Him draws him. We have no pride in this, only thanksgiving.

We pray for those who do not yet know You, we thank You that You are longsuffering, not willing that any should perish, and that all may come to know You!
