Faithful in a very little thing.

Luke 16:10-11, "He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous mammon, who will entrust the true riches to you?"

We all know that it is indeed the "little things" that count. A turning of less than one degree in heading of an aircraft means missing a distant destination. We somehow are able to spot this in others when they "bend the truth" just a little. Are we able to hold ourselves to the standard Jesus gives us? Am I faithful enough in small things to warrant His trust in the larger matters?

Help me to be faithful in all that I do, Lord. I know I need Your help every day.
