The words.

Revelation 3:1, “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.’”

We have another picture of Jesus, as the One who has the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and who brings the brilliant light of the seven stars into the darkest night. For darkness must flee when the tiniest light comes, even the light of seven stars. Yes this light is the light of the world, that is a light unto our way and a lamp unto our feet. It perfectly reveals all that we need to avoid stumbling on the things at our feet that can trip us up, and it guides us to stay close to our amazing Redeemer! Have we sought out His life today?
