Hold fast!
Revelation 2:25, Only hold fast what you have until I come.
Earlier John wrote to encourage we who believe in the name of the Son of God so that we may know that we have eternal life. If any part of this depends upon me, then I know that I am in trouble. Fortunately, He has done it all, proclaiming from the cross that “It is finished!” Even our faith is a gift from God, not of works, lest anyone should boast; we boast in Christ Jesus alone! Are we humbling ourselves by boasting in Christ alone?
We thank You that all our security is in You through Your finished work on the cross; enable us to humbly share Your good news with others!
