And they have conquered him.

Revelation 12:10-12, And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

Perhaps Martin Luther says it best in his hymn, “A Mighty Fortress is Our God,” “And tho this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us, we will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph thru us. The prince of darkness grim -- we tremble not for him; His rage we can endure, For lo! his doom is sure -- One little word shall fell him.” The one word he cannot bear is the living Word, the Logos, the Christ, the Son of God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Through the amazing blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony we are called to be His witnesses of all that He has done. Do we join Paul in determining to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified?

We cast all our cares upon You, and cling to the cross, the blood of the Lamb; inspire us by Your Holy Spirit to be Your witnesses to all You have done all You are going to do!
