Fine linen, bright and pure.

Revelation 19:6-8, Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

We are destined to be a part of this amazing wedding feast of Christ and His Bride, the church which He has cleansed and made whole. And the amazing wedding dress, fine linens, are the righteous deeds that we, His saints, do in His name. For in being saved by grace through faith, we are impelled forward daily into the good deeds which God has prepared for us beforehand that we might walk in them. Does our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and give glory to our Father who is in heaven?

Thank You for the power to walk daily in the good works which You have prepared for us from before the foundation of the world!
