Now war arose in heaven.
Revelation 12:7-8, Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
It’s a battle that would not interest Hollywood, for it is over almost before it begins, as the dragon and his angels try to engage Michael and his angels. It seems that Luther got it right in his wonderful worship hymn: “One little word shall fell him.” “For God who said ‘Let light shine out of darkness’ has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ!” In Him there is no darkness at all. Do we earnestly desire to walk in His light today?
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my way,” O Lord!
