Into the temple.
Acts 21:15-26, ... Then Paul took the men, and the next day he purified himself along with them and went into the temple, giving notice when the days of purification would be fulfilled and the offering presented for each one of them.
The Jewish believers in Christ could not accept the same freedom as the new Gentile believers, for they were tied to their tradition of temple worship and custom. They told Paul to prove himself by this ritual purification, but it proved to be the avenue for the charges raised against him! While they recognized that others could come to faith in Christ without the bondage of custom, they were unable to be free themselves. Yet God uses even this to accomplish His purposes through Paul, a willing servant!
Give us Your perspective on everything; we give thanks for our freedom in Christ and being saved by grace through faith!
